Fit over 40

how to get fit over 40

Have you noticed how people look great, have nice firm arms and legs, and basically look fit with little structured exercise in their 30’s? Then it seems we peak – after 30 suddenly we seem to start to droop and sag. That’s because after the age of 30 we start to loose muscle. Well it’s time to fight aging – you can be fit after 40!

Even though it’s frustrating isn’t it? It seems you reach 40 and you’ve got more flab, less muscle tone, just thinking of eating that delicious chocolate dessert and the pounds are on your hips. And belly fat just seems to appear from nowhere. Great news – fitness over 40 doesn’t have to be overly tough it just needs to be the right exercise.

If you want to improve bone density, experience immune system boosting, gain muscle, lose fat, and take as much as 20 years off your looks you simply need to partake in a fitness over 40 program.

What does exercise over 40 look like? Well actually there’s no one right way. Much of it depends on what your overall fitness level is. Those that are more fit can take on more in-depth training routines if you like. For example bodybuilding over 40 is quite common, but if walking is what’s right for you then that’s just fine too.

Obesity is growing at epidemic proportions and at a time when we should be living longer many are dying far too young. It’s frightening! Thankfully, many are deciding that they want to fight aging with exercise and aging techniques that include relaxation, meditation, health diets that allow you to lose those extra pounds, and boosting the immune system.

As we age our metabolism starts to falter and slow down and suddenly those extra pounds are sticking around. If you create an energy explosion that supercharges your metabolism speed up and you’ll once again begin to burn calories at an accelerate rate. You’ll not only find those extra pounds melting away, you’ll feel younger.

Your immune system is like your armor protecting you from colds, the flu, and other viruses that circulate. Immune system boosting isn’t at all difficult. It just entails a regular exercise program.

As we age we lose muscle mass and that means our metabolism slows. When our metabolism slows we gain those extra pounds. If you want to be fit after 40 you need to combine regular strength training, cardio exercise, and good diet choices. Done right in no time you will look 15 or 20 years younger, and you’ll feel younger too!

John Benson, a transformational life coach and health fitness counselor and publisher has put together a “Fit over 40” e-book that does a great job of dealing with exercise and aging and how exercise over 40 can slow down the aging process. In fact, he refers to exercise as an anti-aging program.

So why is John Bensons e-book “Fit Over 40” the one we should believe in and follow? Because here is a man that put his money where his mouth is.

At the age of 38, overweight, and out of shape, John was like so many of us, but where he differed is that he decided to do something about it. Through his struggle to lose weight and improve his health he designed a program that works and works well, and he’s been tweaking it ever since.

His e-book includes ways to:

  • Rebuild your muscularity of a 20 year old
  • Fight aging
  • Melt pounds and inches off of your body
  • Improve bone density
  • Experience energy explosion
  • Boost your immune system
  • Restore self confidence and sharp mental functions
  • Become super motivated

Just because your over 40 doesn’t mean life has to go downhill. Fitness over 40 isn’t so bad. Exercise over 40, eat right, and you’ll roll back the age clock.
